The board of Lafarge NA has appointed John Stull president and chief executive officer for aggregate, cement and concrete operations in the United States, bringing all lines under a single leader.
“I am confident [our U.S. management team] can build on the foundation in place and continue to meet and exceed our customers’ needs in sustainable and innovative ways,” says Stull. A 20-year-plus veteran of Lafarge Group, most recently managing Latin American and sub-Saharan Africa businesses, he holds a University of Akron degree in chemical engineering and is a Harvard Business School executive management program graduate.
Stull will oversee the relocation of Lafarge North America’s northern Virginia headquarters to the Chicago area later this year. His appointment follows similar management streamlining for Lafarge Canada, where Bob Cartmel and Rene Thibault have been named senior leaders, respectively, for Eastern and Western Provinces.
