Ash Grove Cement Co. announced two promotions and several reassignments in its manufacturing leadership team last month.

Hrizuk.
Bruce Newell is promoted to vice president of manufacturing services. Newell will report to Hrizuk, and lead maintenance and corporate reliability initiatives, corporate purchasing, energy management activities and training initiatives. Newell recently served as assistant vice president of manufacturing services and has served as plant manager at several Ash Grove facilities.
Ron Vidergar will assume the new title of vice president – technical services and will continue to report to Hrizuk. Vidergar previously served as vice president of manufacturing services, assistant vice president of manufacturing services and director of process engineering. Vidergar will continue leading the corporate process engineering group, Technical Center and project management group.
Todd Hinton is reassigned to the corporate Technical Center and will serve as technical center manager. Hinton served most recently as plant manager of the Seattle facility and quality control manager at the Midlothian, Texas, cement manufacturing plant.
David Dorris is reassigned to the Foreman, Ark., facility as plant manager. Dorris served most recently as plant manager of the Louisville, Neb., plant and maintenance manager at the Foreman, Ark., plant. John Dale will take over as plant manager of the Louisville, Neb., facility. He most recently served as production manager at the Louisville plant for the past 3 years. Additionally, Carey Austell is reassigned to the Seattle, Wash., facility as plant manager after having served most recently as the Foreman, Ark., plant manager.
