The Portland Cement Association (PCA) named Mark J. Anderson group vice president of public affairs, effective Feb. 17. Anderson will be the key PCA government affairs representative, responsible for the overall direction and execution of legislative and regulatory initiatives in support of the association’s advocacy and promotion.

Gebr. Pfeiffer Wins Lafarge Contracts
Lafarge North America has contracted Gebr. Pfeiffer Inc. to supply an MVR vertical roller mill as part of an overall modernization project underway at its Ravena plant in New York. The project will replace the current wet process kiln with a dry line, allowing the plant to cut emissions and also increase its capacity.
