Colombian cement maker Cementos Argos and Mexican building materials producer Grupo Calidra have aligned to jointly form Caltek, a new company focused on the production of lime and related compounds, reported Finance Colombia.

WCA Appoints Mathieu as Climate Program Director
The World Cement Association (WCA) announced the appointment of Bernard Mathieu as director of its climate program. In this role, he will lead the association’s CEOs’ Global Forum on Climate Change that aims to draft the WCA Roadmap on Climate Change. The forum will take place on June 27-28, 2018, in Paris.
