For 37 years, the International Cement Seminar & Exhibition was one of the most anticipated annual events for the North American cement industry. After an extended hiatus, the show is back for its 38th year.
The 38th International Cement Seminar & Exhibition will be held Nov. 19-21 in Atlanta at the Cobb Galleria Center. The show is being produced by SEMCO Publishing, the owner of Cement Americas, Rock Products and Concrete Products magazines, all of which are promoting the show.
The theme of the show is Cement Technology and Transformation in 2019.
We have a tremendous slate of educational seminars on tap for you in Atlanta. There will also be an exhibit hall full of manufacturers and service companies to meet your every need.
You can read all about it starting on page 15.
There are also additional exciting things happening at Cement Americas. We are pleased to welcome the first contribution from our new Latin American editorial correspondent Mauro Nogarin. Mauro is based in Bolivia and will cover a variety of topics for us.
In addition, you will soon see contributions from our new European correspondent Jonathan Rowland. Based in the U.K., Jonathan is the former editor of World Cement, and brings to the table a wide variety of industry experience.
Cement Americas is “on the grow” and seeking to bolster its efforts to cover the cement market in North America, with additional context from beyond. If you have story ideas, insights, plant-operations leads, case studies or hard news, do not hesitate to contact us.
And I would look forward to discussing any of those with you in person in Atlanta. We hope you will join us.
