The World Cement Association (WCA) announced it has further expanded its international network of members by welcoming KHD Humboldt Wedag International AG as an associate corporate member.
“In a globalized world, we can only tackle the big challenges facing the cement industry, like climate change, together, so it’s great to be working alongside an organization as respected as KHD,” said Vincent Lefebvre, chairman of the WCA. “We’re delighted to welcome KHD to our membership and look forward to their expert contribution to the work of our Technology and Innovation professional committee.”
With its range of clean technology solutions, KHD is driving innovation in energy-efficient and environmentally friendly products for the grinding and pyro-processing sections of cement plants. The technology-focused group has been a technical leader for many years with innovations from the world’s first pre-heater tower to energy-efficient grinding systems. KHD is an industry leader in calcining technology with low NOX burners calciners with the ability to use a wide range of alternative fuels.
