Lafarge Canada has been named one of Canada’s Top Employers for Young People 2020, a special designation that recognizes employers that provide the best workplaces for young people just starting their careers.
To select the winners, the editors of Canada’s Top 100 Employers project at Toronto-based Mediacorp Canada Inc. evaluated organizations according to eight criteria:

2) Work Atmosphere and Social.
3) Health, Financial and Family Benefits.
4) Vacation and Time Off.
5) Employee Communications.
6) Performance Management.
7) Training and Skills Development.
8) Community Involvement.
Employers are compared to other organizations in their field to determine which offers the most progressive and forward-thinking programs. “These winning organizations understand that learning doesn’t end when the job begins. That’s why this competition is such a valuable resource for young professionals and recent graduates seeking to launch a career in a workplace that supports their growth and development,” noted competition organizers.
