Ready Mix USA, a CEMEX USA company, earned five awards from the Tennessee Concrete Association (TCA) for outstanding environmental performance and contributions to projects across the state.
TCA recognized the Boone’s Creek Plant (Johnson City) and the Morristown Plant (Morristown) for their commitment to the environment, both earning the TCA Emerald Award for Environmental Excellence. The Emerald Awards are presented each year to member plants that make outstanding contributions to preserve and protect the environment, exhibit environmental leadership, maintain sound environmental management practices and install state-of-the-art equipment or implement environmentally friendly plant procedures.
“At Ready Mix USA and CEMEX USA, we strive to be good environmental stewards and look for opportunities to improve our processes and operations to be even more sustainable and environmentally friendly,” said Marc Tyson, president of Ready Mix USA. “We are proud of the achievements at Ready Mix USA, and we remain dedicated to leading positive change for our industry.”
