Registration is now open for ASTM International’s Workshop on Next Generation Cements and SCMs: Towards Specification, to be held June 9 in Philadelphia.
Many new cement and supplementary cementitious material (SCM) products are available in the market, coming from start-ups. These products, however, do not fall under any existing specifications. The workshop will bring together cement producers, customers, agencies and researchers to figure out how to move these new products toward specifications.
Topics for the workshop include cement, SCMs, reactivity, specifications, standards, testing, data, scaling, performance, durability, etc.
