Tehachapi Cement, part of UNACEM North America, recently led a transformative community project that saw the restoration of a long-standing mural in downtown Tehachapi, Calif.
What began as a repair effort became a full-scale reimagining – celebrating over a century of industry, resilience, and community since 1906 and now proudly featuring UNACEM as the company’s current steward.
During a mural dedication ceremony on June 4th, UNACEM North America CEO Enrique Rozas unveiled the scroll showing plant ownership history, honored generations of contribution and Tehachapi Cement’s ongoing impact on the region.
“This project brings the community together in a special way and symbolizes who we are: rooted in legacy, committed to progress, and devoted to the communities we serve,” said Tehachapi Cement.
