American Cement Association, along with industry partners National Ready Mixed Concrete Association and American Society of Concrete Contractors, will host a comprehensive Blended Cements Workshop in Indianapolis, Ind., on Sept. 10.
The workshop is designed to provide practical guidance, expert insight, and real-world project examples with case studies, roundtable discussions, and project showcases. From the history of modern cement and evolution of current specifications of blended cements, to future prospects, attendees will explore how different cement types and their characteristics influence the fresh and hardened concrete properties of concrete.
ACA encourages architects, engineers, contractors, material producers and industry stakeholders to attend. “Whether you design, specify, produce, or place concrete, this workshop is for you – it’s your chance to connect with industry leaders, gain insights, share experiences, and engage in collaborative problem-solving,” said ACA.
