The American Cement Association (ACA), along with industry partners the National Ready Mixed Concrete Association and American Society of Concrete Contractors, will host a comprehensive Blended Cements Workshop in Atlanta on Oct. 22.
The workshop is designed to provide practical guidance, expert insight, and real-world project examples with case studies, roundtable discussions, and project showcases.
“From the history of modern cement and evolution of current specifications of blended cements, to future prospects – we’ll explore how different cement types and their characteristics influence the fresh and hardened concrete properties of concrete. We’ll also review best practices in working with blended cements, and emerging research driving innovations,” said ACA officials.
