The Plibrico Company appointed John Paul Surdo as its new president and chief executive officer, following the retirement of Brad Taylor. With this transition, Plibrico is carrying forward its legacy of customer partnership as it enters a new phase focused on growth, innovation and long-term value.

My focus is to build on that strength by developing innovative refractory solutions, delivering technical expertise where and when it’s needed, and ensuring our products and services directly improve customers’ operational performance,” said Surdo. “By focusing on collaboration and execution, we can help customers achieve higher efficiency and reliability across their operations.”
Before joining Plibrico, Surdo held a variety of senior leadership roles across global markets, most recently serving as president of the Americas at Bystronic Group, a leading global technology company in the field of sheet metal processing. He holds a bachelor’s in business administration and an MBA in general management.
