More than 150 Exhibitors and Unprecedented Technical Content Highlight This Year’s Conference.

The 59th Annual IEEE-IAS/PCA Cement Industry Technical Conference will be held at the Telus Convention Centre in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, from May 21-25. The conference will include more than 150 exhibitors with the latest product offerings, state-of-the-art technical presentations, tutorials, training, state of the industry updates, regulatory news, networking opportunities and a plant tour of the Lafarge Exshaw Cement Plant.
“The Exshaw Plant is home to 160 proud employees who have been shaping the West for 110 years,” the company said. “Through our expansion, we will have an even greater impact in our region:

This year’s conference will feature unprecedented technical content that is offered in several levels such as paper presentations, tutorials and professional training. There will also be a keynote speaker, economic forecasts for the industry, a report on the state of the industry, panel discussions and government regulations updates.
“You do not want to miss out on the flow of information offered and included with your registration,” show organizers said.
Professional Training sessions will again be offered at the conference for a small fee. Each session will be tailored to the needs of a specific group and/or technical issue facing the industry.
The conference tutorial this year is MSHA Part 46 Recertification Training presented by Tom Burgess of Industrial Kiln & Dryer Group. It will be presented on Monday, May 22 as an all-day session.
