Cemento Cruz Azul will invest nearly $40 million for the construction of a new mill at its cement plant in Lagunas, Oaxaca, Mexico, to increase production capacity, reported El Heraldo de México.
“The investment in this new equipment confirms our commitment to the sustainable development of the Mexican Southeast,” said company officials, noting that work on the mill should be completed by next October.
Earlier this month, Cruz Azul began construction on a new plant in Seybaplaya, Campeche, for more than $300 million.
