Bijur Delimon International, a manufacturer of automatic lubrication systems for industrial equipment, announced the release of the new state-of-the-art Farval ProTec MAX open gear spray system used to lubricate pinions found in rotary kilns, ball mills, coal mills, and heavy-duty gearing.
The system was designed to spray today’s newly developed synthetic lubricants, which can be challenging to apply in colder climates. Its nozzles come with motion sensors for monitoring both the air and lubricant passing through the mixing chamber on to the pinion gear. Optional heated nozzles and custom enclosures are available.

“Many systems only monitor lubricant flow to the nozzle. With Farval ProTec MAX you receive confirmation the lubricant has been sprayed through the nozzle to the pinion gear,” said Edward Dunn, product support manager for Gear Spray Systems said. “This is a game changer; our customers feel reassured their capital equipment will continue to increase productivity with the latest monitoring technology available with our system.”
