A new collaboration between FLSmidth and Lin & Associates will see the latter’s flagship adaptive model-less multivariable control solution, DELTUM, incorporated into FLSmidth’s ECS/ProcessExpert (PXP) advanced process control (APC) software.
The aim is to deliver better responsiveness to changes in process conditions, including alternative fuels, changes in raw materials, and cementitious materials so that cement plants can best fulfill their sustainability ambitions.
“With this cooperation, we look forward to delivering higher energy efficiency and enhanced productivity than current industry standards,” said Dinesh Sampath, global product manager – optimization, FLSmidth.
Under the terms of the agreement with Lin & Associates, FLSmidth will offer DELTUM adaptive controllers on an exclusive basis for its customer base.
