The Portland Company Launches New Line of Packing Equipment

The Portland Company, a Haver & Boecker company brand and the “world’s first” Assemble to Order (ATO) packing equipment provider, has unveiled a full line of machines to meet the requirements of cement and building material producers.

The company and its product line were unveiled at a special online presentation, attended by Cement Products.

The Portland Company offering is comprised of four key products: PANTHERA-PACKER PVT, a rotary packing machine available in 8-, 12- or 16-spout configurations; CHEETAH-BAGPLACER, a simplified automatic bag placing technology in either normal or high-capacity options; RHINO-LOADER, the first in what will be a robust family of manual and automatic loaders; and the LYNX-PACKER LVT, a stationary packing machine that offers manual and automatic bag drop features.

“Quality in a standardized, fast, price-competitive package – that’s what The Portland Company’s approach offers,” said Florian Festge, managing partner of Haver & Boecker. “We’re excited to provide the quality of Haver & Boecker components to customers that require a quick installation without a need for the additional features and customization options.”

The Portland Company equipment line combines more than 135 years of Haver & Boecker’s industry experience to form a new, unique ATO approach to packing. For producers in the cement and building products industries, ATO means they can configure predefined machines and accessories according to capacity and power requirements to align with their specific project requirements.

With ATO, The Portland Company targets delivery and installation timelines of just three months at very competitive prices. All of The Portland Company’s products are manufactured using the same supply chain as Haver & Boecker products.

Additionally, the parts and service are provided by the same service structure, ensuring that neither quality nor performance is compromised. For those projects requiring an engineered to order (ETO) or modified to order (MTO) approach, the iconic ROTO-Packer and RADIMAT remain available through the Haver & Boecker brand.
