Caribbean Cement Co. Ltd. announced the departure of General Manager Peter Donkersloot Ponce. Yago Castro, currently the general manager of Arawak Cement Co. Ltd., will succeed Donkersloot Ponce, effective Aug. 1. Both Carib Cement and Arawak are members of the Cemex Group.

Lehigh Cement Receives Air Permit for Plant Modification
Lehigh Cement Co.’s Mitchell, Ind., plant received the necessary permit from the Indiana Department of Environmental Management (IDEM) to begin construction of a new cement kiln system.
