The World Cement Association (WCA) added one of the world’s leading alternative fuels consulting firms, MVW Lechtenberg & Partners (MVW), as an associate corporate member.
MVW focuses on processing domestic and other waste to separate recyclables and processing the non-recyclable wastes into alternative fuels for the cement and lime industry, enabling them to reduce their carbon footprint.
“We are delighted to announce that MVW Lechtenberg & Partners will join our growing membership network,” said Ian Riley, CEO of the WCA. “They continue to lead the way in AFR technology and application, enabling firms to significantly reduce CO2 emissions. MVW brings a clear global perspective to the challenges that cement producers face in increasing AFR usage.”
MVW is committed to contribute to a low carbon economy, through innovation and more effective use of alternative fuels and raw materials which reduces consumption of fossil fuels in the industry.
“I am thrilled to join the WCA’s worldwide network and work together to increase the sustainability of the cement industry while also reducing costs,” said Dirk Lechtenberg, director of MVW Lechtenberg & Partner.
